The rotten E.U.

THE EU was accused of acting like a spoilt child yesterday after threatening the UK with fines of £250,000 a day for failing to implement new rules.

The huge penalty was proposed by the European Commission the day after David Cameron called for EU reform and promised Britain a referendum on whether to stay in on new terms or leave.

Outraged MPs said Brussels’ petty attempt at revenge would make a vote to pull out even more likely, while the Whitehall department affected also hit back at the Eurocrats, insisting the UK was on the verge of meeting their demands.

The Commission is asking the European Court of Justice to slap daily fines equivalent to £174 a minute or more than £91million a year on the UK for failing fully to introduce into British law two directives on how gas and electricity markets operate in the EU.

Leading Conservative Eurosceptic MP Peter Bone said: “This shows why we should not be in the EU. Their action is like a spoilt child who has been told off for their behaviour and is retaliating against the person who has reprimanded them.

“They are quite happy to fine the UK for allegedly not implementing these directives but totally fail to implement directives that benefit British businesses.

New web design.

I have removed Java applets from my site due to security issues and the fact most modern browsers ask you to run the plug ins. The site should now load faster.

I have added some more good links to the site such as a link to the DivX page.

I have added a link to my Pinterest boards which are popular.

I also have a php application a dating site that costs just £1 for 12 months this just covers me for the SQL database costs.

Time to exit the rotten E.U bring it on.

The Prime Minister set out plans for a binding poll by November 2018. And confirmed that a victory for the “No” campaign would lead to the UK’s exit from the EU.

The momentous pledge is seen as the biggest victory yet for the Daily Express’s crusade for Britain to quit the EU and will delight the newspaper’s loyal army of readers.

Mr Cameron vowed: “It is time for the British people to have their say. It is time to settle this European question in British politics.”

The long-anticipated speech – delivered at Bloomberg – cheered Tory backbenchers tired of the growing avalanche of regulations and meddling from Brussels and frustrated by past Government betrayals of referendum pledges.

Tory MP Dominic Raab hailed a “moderate, statesman-like approach … rightly focused on a fundamental change in strategic direction rather than tactics”.
“The ball is now in the EU’s court,” he said.

While Mayor of London, Boris Johnson said the Prime Minister was “bang on” with his speech.

He said: “What most sensible people want is to belong to the single market but to lop off the irritating excrescences of the European Union.

“We now have a chance to get a great new deal for Britain – that will put the UK at the heart of European trade but that will also allow us to think globally.”

Mr Cameron made clear that the Conservative Party will go into the next general election with a pledge to try to win a new deal in Europe.

Fellow patriot,

Following on the back of the first demonstration in December outside the new (taxpayer funded) home of Abu Qatada, Britain First Chairman Paul Golding has called a new demonstration for Saturday 2nd February outside Abu Qatada’s house in North West London.

But this time, it will not be a flash demo that is unannounced, this time we are preparing for a full scale mobilisation of all of our activists, and I would like to invite you personally to this important event!

This is the bottom line: We will NEVER stop this campaign UNTIL Qatada has been booted out of Britain!

We will NEVER stop our demos outside his taxpayer-funded houses, and we will NEVER stop exposing and publishing his every address…we intend to make his life a misery!

This is one of those times when we need all of our supporters to close ranks and help OUR movement to take the next step along the road to national salvation!

More details will be released nearer the time, but if you wish to take part in this important demonstration, please email:

In the meantime, please save the demo image above onto your computer and upload it to your Facebook wall to help spread the message!

Yours sincerely
Andy McBride
Deputy Chairman

Over the weekend I had time to review a very damning report written by the International Monetary Fund on the situation in Greece. This provides quite a contrast to what the polite may call rose-tinted or the less so outright misrepresentation of views in the past. If we step back in time to the debt haircut imposed on Greece for the troika we were told that after shrinking by 4.3% in 2012 it’s economy would recover to flat or stability in 2013. In my article comparing all this to the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland I asked this on February 8th 2012.

The current figures point to a worse outcome for 2012 and if there is any evidence for a turn-around in 2013 I hope they will present it.

Of course there was none as it was all fantasy to achieve another fantasy which is that a national debt target of 120% of Gross Domestic Product means anything. In stead we have seen the Greek economy shrink by over 6% in 2012 and open 2013 looking weak too.

How does the IMF address this now?

Here is the new very different view on the Greek economy.

It is now projected to contract by 6 percent this year and 4¼ percent in 2013.

This is a quite shocking turnaround on two counts. Firstly it exposes the untruths of the past because as you can see from above I was worried about something like this happening at the time. Also if we look at the impact of this on Greece we see falling tax revenues combined with higher social security spending as unemployment has climbed. Indeed at 26.8% Greece’s unemployment rate has passed Spain’s and climbed to the top of a table nobody wants to lead. So the fiscal deficit disappoints and under the current plan we get more austerity which gives everything another downwards push and repeat. Or as I put it back then.

Muslim vigilantes in the UK

Police are investigating reports a gang claiming to be Islamic vigilantes have been confronting members of the public and demanding they give up alcohol and women cover their flesh in their ‘Muslim area’.

The hooded men, who call themselves Muslim Patrol, have been filmed walking London’s streets and calling white women ‘naked animals with no self respect.’

The group is also shown taking ‘evil’ booze from revellers and film a cyclist being treated after a road accident, claiming they were injured because they were unclean.

In one exchange a member of the group says: ‘We don’t care if you are appalled at all’, before calling themselves ‘vigilantes implementing Islam upon your own necks’.

They have uploaded videos to their YouTube channel with the most recent three-minute clip causing a stir online.

‘The Truth About Saturday Night’, which was uploaded on Sunday, has already been viewed more than 42,000 times.

Scotland Yard says it is investigating.

It was shot on a mobile phone at night in what the Met say is Waltham Forest, London, with a number of men seen shouting ‘this is a Muslim area’ towards white Britons they’ve confronted

Dear friend,

I want to share with you this shocking example of what has been taking place up and down the country for years.

The video speaks for itself, and nothing I can say will be anywhere near as powerful.

Watch the video here and share it with as many people as possible.
